Theatre Panache Current Projects

Theatre Panache and associated company Hudson Productions have a full range of activities planned for 2010 and 2011. To receive email and mailings about our productions, please call Theatre Panache at 450-458-5281 or sign up by emailing subscribe@theatrepanache.ca .

Theatre Panache Studio classes in acting and improvisation will start again in January. The level II acting class includes taking part in a production to gain experience before a live audience. Completion of the series of three classes allows graduates who have no other theatre training to work for Hudson Productions at the Rigaud Customs Officer Training Centre.

Due to continuing interest in “Till We Meet Again” by David Langlois, our wartime musical, we are looking for financing of a Toronto run or for a theatre which will present it. "Till We Meet Again" toured six theatres in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa in the Fall of 2009 and sold about 10,000 tickets. Details of the tour can be found at the redesigned website for tillwemeetagain.ca.

As a partner in Greenwood's StoryFest, we will again be producing several shows under the theatre's "Stories on Stage" section. For more information on these shows, please call (450) 458-5281 for theatre information and (450) 458-5396 for information on the Greenwood StoryFest.

In a new initiative, Theatre Panache is producing "Shirley Valentine" by Willy Russell as a Dinner Theatre in Newboro, Ontario in the Rideau Lakes region. The show will run for two week-ends and offer Dinner Theatre at 6:30 on August 6, 7, 13 and 14. Lunch Theatre will be offered at 12:30 on August 8 and 15. Theatre Panache Artistic Director will be playing Shirley, reprising the role she played to sold-out houses at the Hudson Village Theatre in 2003. The show is being mounted in partnership with Deborah Goudreau who is founding a studio in Newboro and which has promotion of the arts as one of its aims. Montreal and Ottawa theatre goers are encouraged to visit the Studio's website to find out about overnight or weekend stays in this lovely area as part of their excursions to see "Shirley Valentine".
